ABOUT THE SET

Calling all little architects, engineers and tinkerers! The ACROBAT set is designed just for you! Get ready to spark your creativity and dive into imaginative play with this ingenious open-ended set.

Inspired by classic balancing acrobat games, the ACROBAT set includes figures that can create a wide range of symmetrical patterns and dynamic structures at various heights. Each acrobat, with its distinct head, arms, and legs, features multiple balance points, allowing for unique and exciting arrangements. Test your patience, cognitive skills, and fine motor skills as you craft your next show-stopping act!

But that’s not all! What sets our ACROBAT apart from other balancing toys are the extra elements it includes. With slats and rods, children are invited to explore unique building and engineering possibilities. These loose parts as well as the marble add an extra dimension to the fun, transforming acrobats into pillars that support slides and pathways for the marble to roll down. The figures can also turn into heroes and heroines of adventures and incredible stories.

MATERIAL

Handmade from locally sourced beech wood and finished with natural sealing oil.

Wood, being a natural material, can exhibit variations in color and minor markings, which are not flaws but proof of its origin. Each ACRO figure is unique—just like we humans are!

ABOUT THE ACRO DESIGN

The design of the ACRO collection is rooted in simple geometric shapes. To introduce new opportunities and unlock extra dimensions of play, the ACRO sets incorporate unusual elements often absent in classic building sets. These include holes (negative spaces) and a variety of loose parts: sticks, tiles, bridging components, and different-sized balls. These pieces transform a simple building game, even with relatively few pieces, into numerous construction, balancing, and engineering opportunities.

The pieces of the sets serve as “building blocks” within a construction, and they also resemble human figures or houses, allowing them to be seamlessly integrated into small world play scenarios. This enables them to follow children’s fluid way of playing from moment to moment.

The ACRO sets are designed to be fully functional on their own, yet they can also be seamlessly combined with each other, creating a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.
